ROLE: Design
CHALLENGE: Design promotional posters and postcards for the photographer, Alyson Aliano.
SOLUTION: For this assignment, it obviously was essential that the imagery remains the focus. I picked up on the bright colors and playful tone in the photos for a complementary color palette. Alternating solid-colored and brush-textured backgrounds added a bit more movement to a playfully placed montage of images. By contrast, white text on black ensured that the photographer’s name and website would stand out.
